We are a family owned and operated business since 1943. Wendle Motors is committed to serving the automotive needs of the Inland Northwest by creating an atmosphere of trust, respect, and ethical values for our employees, customers, and community.

It is because of our customers and our community that we continue to succeed. We are committed to our community and strive to help our local organizations. Since the day we opened, we have invested in our community to show our gratitude and to help our community become a healthier and stronger future for us all. A strong community with a high quality of life means safer, healthier lives for you and those around you. All these actions, big and small, move the needle in a positive direction. It is often our communities that support us in hard times, and now it is our turn to support them.

Some of our involvement with our local community includes:

  • Hosting blood drives at our dealership
  • Food drives
  • Volunteer as a large group at 2nd Harvest Food Bank
  • Sponsor sports teams (for youths and adults)
  • Donate to organizations that have at least 70% of their expenses devoted to program services and prioritize those that are our employees’ passions and interests.
  • Donate to several local colleges, high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools
  • Volunteer at our local tech school
  • Company-wide United Way donations
  • Veterans' programs
  • School supplies drives
  • Local community centers

SNAP Lunch

We had the privilege of hosting SNAP, a vital nonprofit that serves thousands in our community. Their work goes far beyond energy assistance, providing critical services that make a real difference in the lives of so many. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn more about their impact.

A huge thank you to our employees who are always eager to learn about local nonprofits, discover ways to give back and explore volunteer opportunities. Your willingness to engage with and support the good happening around us is what makes our team so special.

We kicked off our Race 2 Excellence 2025 strategy with an all-employee lunch. We’re super excited because we have big plans this year. Every department and every single person on our team plays a key role in giving YOU the best experience possible and we’re continuously working to make it even better.

CPR Training

Some of our team members learned CPR for the first time, while others renewed their certifications. We host a CPR/First Aid Certification every other year to ensure our team is prepared in case of an emergency. Everyone’s safety matters to us here at Wendle!

Lumen High School

We had the pleasure of hosting Lumen High School students for a tour of Wendle. We explored many areas of the automotive industry, from career opportunities to the skills that drive success. Overall, it was a great day with a group of future professionals!

Holiday Party

2024 was an incredible year, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating with our Wendle family whom we love so much. Our team came together at Northern Quest Resort & Casino to enjoy delicious food, exciting games, well-deserved awards with awesome prizes. 2nd Harvest Inland Northwest

Our Wendle team and their families joined Second Harvest Inland Northwest to make a difference. In under two hours, we assembled 5,024 Bite2Go kits. These kits are part of an ongoing effort to provide weekend food and snacks to support to over 11,000 kids throughout the school year. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and to 2nd Harvest for all you do for our community!

Vitalant Blood Drive

Ringing in the New Year by helping save lives! Our team came together to donate both plasma and blood with Vitalant - Northwest. A huge thank you to everyone who donated — your selflessness makes a real difference. We're grateful for these amazing team members who ALWAYS roll up their sleeves whenever the Vitalant bus visits Wendle.

Shayne's Wendleversary

It’s hard to believe, but 32 years ago this month, Shayne’s Wendle adventure began as a Shuttle Driver fresh out of the University of Idaho. Happy Wendleversary, Shayne!

Just over 30 years ago, we hit the jackpot when Jeff joined our Wendle Family, With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Jeff has worn plenty of hats, eventually finding his groove in our Parts Wholesale department. United Way Lunch

Nearly 80% of our employees committed to contributing to the Spokane County United Way in 2025! To celebrate our team, we hosted a baked potato bar from Wagon Wheel Bar & Grill. Thank you for supporting our community!

Mark's Wendleversary

In 1996, Macarena had everyone dancing, Space Jam hit theaters, and the first flip phone was released. But the highlight of the year for us? Mark joined the Wendle Family! For the past 28 years, Mark has been a cornerstone of our success, bringing dedication, loyalty,y and a passion for excellence to everything he does. His hard work has played a major role in shaping Wendle’s growth over the years. Mark, THANK YOU for your invaluable contributions and for being a driving force in our journey. Here’s to many more years of shared success and accomplishments together!

Red Shirt Friday

Friday is for Our Heroes! Every Friday of the year, our team proudly wears red to honor military service members deployed all over the world. It’s a small but meaningful way to recognize their bravery and sacrifices. We are the Land of the Free because of the Brave. Thank you to all who serve!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Wednesdays mean you'll see plenty of Wendle employees in pink! Although we think our team looks amazing in pink, that’s not why we’re wearing these shirts. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our goal is to remind you that early detection is lifesaving! Lynn's Wendleversary

38 years ago, a determined 19-year-old Lynn joined our Wendle Family. She quickly became an essential part of our team and has worked alongside ALL four generations of the Wendle legacy. Lynn’s story reflects the unwavering support, encouragement, and trust that define who we are. Her journey has not only shaped who we are today but continues to inspire our future. We held a celebration in honor of Willy's retirement. With 10 years of dedicated service at Wendle, Willy has been an incredible part of our team. His loyalty, commitment, and vast knowledge have made a lasting impact on all of us. Willy’s journey at Wendle has been truly special, working alongside family—his dad as a service manager, his brother as a service advisor, and his son-in-law, Steve. Career Crossover Trades Night at Mt. Spokane High School

We had a great time at the Career Crossover Trades Night at Mt. Spokane High School yesterday! This free community event brought together industries like automotive, construction, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing to share valuable insights with students of all ages. 1-161 Infantry Highlander Ball

Wendle Motors was proud to donate to The 1-161 Infantry Highlander Association Events, helping to strengthen the bond between our soldiers and our community. The donation supports upcoming events and the Highlander's Fund, geared to providing resources to soldiers in our region. We were honored to receive a plaque from SFC Benjamin Ashworth of the 1-161 Infantry Regiment, commemorating our support. We are happy to support those who serve. Thank you!

George & Kathy’s Retirement

We gathered to celebrate the retirement of two remarkable members of our Wendle family. Kathy, affectionately known as our ‘Parts Chick,’ has been with us for an incredible 31 years, and George, the man who ‘can do it all,’ has dedicated 25 years to helping Wendle thrive. Their commitment, hard work, loyalty and the energy they brought to our team have made a lasting impact. To honor their journey, we enjoyed a special Mexican lunch—Kathy’s favorite—and shared memories and laughter. It’s never easy to say goodbye, but we are filled with gratitude for everything they’ve done for us over the years. Kathy and George, your presence will be deeply missed, and your legacy will continue to inspire us. Wishing you both the very best in this new chapter of your lives. Thank you for all the years of dedication!

Wendle Wonderland

Our team works hard, so we treated them and their families to a night of fun! From mini-golf and go-karts to laser tag and more, it was an evening of family fun where we all got to play just as hard as they work. Thanks, Wonderland Family Fun Center. We had a blast!

Ken's Wendleversary

We celebrated Ken’s 25th Wendleversary! Ken's automotive career spans 40 YEARS!!! He started as a lube tech before joining the Wendle Family. He came to us to explore new opportunities and work with friends; we’re so grateful he made the change. At Wendle, Ken has excelled as a Service Advisor, Service Manager and now Service Operations Manager. Ken, you’re a cherished member of our team, and we’re thrilled you chose Wendle. Deer Park Settlers Parade

Every year, the Deer Park, WA community celebrates Settlers Day, a tradition since 1921 that transforms the town into an exciting festive hub with a parade, vendors, food and live music. Wendle was thrilled to join the fun this year, showcasing a 1974 Ford Bronco, a 2024 Ford Bronco Heritage, a 1992 Ford Bronco and our Ford mobile service van in the parade. Great job, everyone—it was a fantastic event!

Ron's Retirement

We celebrated the incredible career of Ron Kaiser, affectionately known as Kaiz and Ronbo, who officially retired after an amazing 34 years with the Wendle Family! Ron has been the embodiment of hard work, dedication, loyalty, friendliness, and FUN. To know Ron is to love Ron. His great sense of humor has brought joy to all of us, and his unwavering commitment has left an indelible mark on our team. Adding to his incredible journey, it was here at Wendle that Ron met his wonderful wife, making his time with us even more special. Ron, we are forever grateful for your time with us. This is definitely not a goodbye, so don’t think you can get rid of us that easily! You will ALWAYS be part of the Wendle Family. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement and know that you’ll be missed dearly.

Father's Day Car Show

We had an awesome time at our 20th Annual Wendle Father’s Day Car Show, hosted with The Gents Auto Club! We had over 140 entries, from sports cars and trucks to everything in between. The proceeds from the show benefited Providence Saints, Second Harvest Inland Northwest and the Providence Health System (Providence Children’s Hospital). Thank you for your support of these local organizations. We are looking forward to next year. See you then!

Wendle Motors has been in business since 1943. It is because of our customers and our community that we continue to succeed. We are committed to our community and strive to help organizations with our support. Part of our charitable guidelines include basing our decisions on financial information provided by the Washington Secretary of State. We aim to assist organizations that have at least 70% of their expenses devoted to program services. Our goal is to ensure that our donation is being used as effectively as possible and is making the greatest impact within our community. To request a donation, please submit a donation request using our online form. Requests are reviewed within approximately three months, so please submit your request at least 90 days before a response is needed. Complete our simple online form: Wendle Donation Request Survey The survey will include the following items:
  • Organization full name and address
  • Federal Tax ID Number or UBI Number
  • Organization's Mission
  • How will our local community benefit from the funds?
  • Type of request-sponsorship, auction/raffle item, program support, event support or other (please specify)
  • What is the purpose of the funds requested?
  • Name and date of the event
  • Donation cut off date
  • If the request for a donation or sponsorship is approved, will you provide recognition or advertising? If yes, please list the type of recognition that will be offered and where it can be found. (Link on website, social media posts, etc.)
  • Is the organization registered with the Secretary of State Charities Division? If so, what is the percentage of the funds that are spent on the organization’s charitable purpose? If it is under 70%, please provide details. (We use sos.wa.gov/charities/ as a resource)
  • Does the organization, or anyone associated with the organization, do business with or is employed by Wendle Motors?
